USIM ‘Alamiyyah, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) had the honour of hosting a delegation from the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) for a constructive discussion on student affairs and potential collaborations that could bring mutual benefits to both institutions.

The visit was attended by:

  2. Dr. Ustaz Alfian Yasrif Kuchit, Deputy Director, Asatizah Talent Development Cluster
  3. Syed Abdullah Alkaff, Executive, Asatizah Talent Development Cluster
  4. Dr. Sofia Hayati Yusof, Director of USIM ‘Alamiyyah
  5. Dr. Khairul Asyraf Mohd Nathir, Deputy Director of USIM ‘Alamiyah
  6. Prof. Madya Dr Nurulwahidah Fauzi, International Coordinator, Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies (FPQS)

The meeting focused on the following key areas:

  1. Student affairs, including academic development, leadership programs, and support initiatives.
  2. Collaboration opportunities between USIM and MUIS to foster knowledge exchange and capacity building.
  3. Future partnerships, including joint programs, research projects, and training initiatives aimed at enhancing Islamic education and leadership development.

The visit marked an important step in strengthening ties between USIM and MUIS. Both parties expressed keen interest in exploring further engagements that will benefit students, faculty, and the broader Islamic education community. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to review potential collaboration and follow up on actionable plans soon between FPQS, USIM and MUIS.
