KUALA LUMPUR, 17 Feb – A delegation of 19 INSAN students from USIM ALAMIYYAH (UA) embarked on an academic and spiritual journey to the Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah. The group was officially sent off by Dr. Khairul Asyraf Mohd Nathir, the Deputy Director of USIM ALAMIYYAH, who represented the Director, at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The students, along with their academic supervisors, are set to engage in a series of enriching programs designed to combine both academic learning and spiritual growth.

The delegation departed at 3:00 PM and is expected to arrive at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, at 8:00 PM. During their visit, the students will perform Umrah as part of their spiritual development, deepening their connection to the Islamic faith. In addition to the religious activities, the students will attend a seminar at the University of Prince Muqrin, aimed at fostering academic collaboration and cultural exchange.

One of the significant highlights of the visit is the opening ceremony hosted by Jammiyah, a prominent organization in Makkah. The students will also have the opportunity to tour the iconic landmarks of the Haram, offering them an opportunity to experience the historical and cultural significance of these sacred sites.

The delegation will visit the ongoing Al-Balad Al-Haram project, a key initiative focused on modernizing and preserving the area surrounding the Grand Mosque. A special sharing session with Umm Al-Qura University will also take place, providing students with insights into Islamic studies, research initiatives, and educational opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
