Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) has proudly participated in EAIE Glasgow 2026, marking its first participation in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference.

Although this was USIM’s first EAIE experience, it builds on the University’s ongoing internationalisation journey. Following its participation in EURIE 2025 and APAIE 2026, USIM has continued to strengthen its visibility and presence within the global higher education community.

This growing international recognition was evident at EAIE Glasgow 2026, where USIM received numerous meeting invitations from international institutions throughout the event. These invitations reflected the increasing recognition of USIM as a potential partner for meaningful academic and institutional collaboration.

More importantly, these engagements led to concrete opportunities and partnerships with 30 institutions across 13 countries:

United Kingdom
United States of America
Ireland
Romania
Türkiye
France
Montenegro
Estonia
Egypt
Oman
India
Senegal
Thailand

Through these engagements, USIM advanced collaborations involving Erasmus+ opportunities, Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs), Letters of Intent (LoIs) and other strategic areas of international cooperation.

These developments reflect USIM’s continued commitment to expanding its global network, creating opportunities for student and staff mobility, strengthening academic and research collaboration, and establishing strategic partnerships with institutions worldwide.

From EURIE 2025 and APAIE 2026 to EAIE Glasgow 2026, USIM’s internationalisation journey continues to gain momentum, transforming global connections into meaningful partnerships and opportunities.

🌏 The world is recognising USIM, and USIM is ready to connect with the world.
