CANCELLATION OF STUDENT PASS (COM) – GRADUATED/ WITHDRAWN/ TERMINATED
All international students that has Graduated/ Withdrawn/ Terminated from USIM are required to return to their country of origin and the student pass will be cancelled as stated in their terms and conditions of student pass issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia (IMM).
REQUIREMENT:
- Original Passport
- Copy of Flight Ticket to Country of Origin
- Copy of Letter of Completion Study/ Letter of Approval for Withdrawal from Study/ Letter of Failed and Terminated (GDB) from BPA (Undergraduate) or PPS (Postgraduate)
- Application Fees: Free
Please be informed student are required to submit all documents to USIM ‘Alamiyyah counter at least 2 weeks (14 Days) before travel to country of origin.
Student is advised to travel before expiry of student pass or IF the date of travel is after the expiry of student pass, student needs to apply a Special Pass COM and pay the fee of RM100.
MAIN PROCESS:
- Student received a notice to cancel the student pass from USIM ‘Alamiyyah to your registered/active e-mail.
- Therefore, student is kindly requested to visit USIM ‘Alamiyyah office within 5 working days from the date of notice to cancel the Student Pass/Visa and bring along the required documents.
The cancellation process will take up to 7 to 10 working days by the Immigration Department of Negeri Sembilan from the time you submitted the required documents to us. Once your cancellation process is approved and passport is ready for collection from USIM ‘Alamiyyah counter, we will send a notification to your email.
CANCELLATION OF STUDENT PASS – CHANGE PROGRAMME/ UNIVERSITY
International student who wants to further study at the same or higher level degree at USIM or Other College/University in Malaysia requires to cancel current Student Pass. The new Visa Approval Letter (VAL) application will not approve by Immigration due to the current Student Pass still active and appear in Immigration System.
REQUIREMENT:
- Original Passport
- Copy of Completion Study Letter/ Copy of Approval for Change Programme Letter/ Letter of Approval for Withdrawal from Study/ Letter of Failed and Terminated (GDB) from BPA (Undergraduate) or PPS (Postgraduate).
- Copy Letter of Offer for the new programme
- Application Fee: Free
MAIN PROCESS:
- Student receives a notice to cancel the Student Pass from USIM ‘Alamiyyah to your registered/active e-mail.
- Therefore, student is kindly requested to visit USIM ‘Alamiyyah office within 5 working days from the date of notice to cancel the Student Pass and bring along the required documents.

FAQ:
Student are required to cancel a student pass if:
1. Graduated/ Completion of Studies from USIM
2. Withdrawn
3. Terminated
4. Change Programme or University
Leaving Malaysia without cancelling your Student Pass will result in the forfeiture of your Personal Bond deposit by Immigration Malaysia and can cause consequences if student decides to apply to another University within Malaysia/ to apply another visa in Malaysia.
Not Allowed. Immigration Malaysia required original passport for cancellation of Pass.
You will need to surrender your original passport to USIM ‘Alamiyyah. We will then organize for your pass to be shortened by the Department of Immigration. It should take approximately 7-10 working days to process. Please note that this is at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
