8 April 2025 – Istanbul, Türkiye
Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) marked a significant milestone by participating for the first time in the Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE 2025), held in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 8 to 10 April 2025. This inaugural participation proved to be a remarkable success, as USIM, through its international office, USIM Alamiyyah, successfully formalised collaborative agreements under the Erasmus+ mobility project with several Turkish universities.

As the largest higher education event in our region and one of the biggest in the world. EURIE serves as a dunamic platform that connects the region’s higher education sector with more than 300 institutions and stakeholders worldwide.

On the opening day of the summit, USIM conducted official partnership meetings and signed cooperation agreements with Istanbul Gedik University, Karabuk University, and TED University. These institutions are all associate members of the Erasmus+ programme, positioning USIM prominently on the global academic stage.

It is anticipated that the second and third days of EURIE 2025 will further expand international opportunities for USIM. Congratulations are extended to the USIM Alamiyyah team for this outstanding achievement.
