Negeri Sembilan, 28 September 2025 — Members of the High Council of the USIM International Students’ Association from Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, and Pakistan participated in a cultural programme organized and sponsored by Angkasa Negeri Sembilan, with the strong support of USIM ‘Alamiyyah.

The programme provided international students with the opportunity to explore and experience the rich traditions and heritage of Negeri Sembilan, while promoting intercultural understanding and fostering closer ties between the local and international communities. As part of the activities, the students also learned traditional dances of Negeri Sembilan, with five of them selected to perform as representatives during the closing ceremony, showcasing the dance in front of the President of Angkasa — a proud moment for the international student community.

One of the committee members shared, “This is a new and exciting experience for us, something we would not experience in our own countries since we come from different cultures and traditions.” The students emphasized that studying abroad is not only about academic learning, but also about embracing cultures, building meaningful connections, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

This collaboration between Angkasa Negeri Sembilan and USIM ‘Alamiyyah not only introduced international students to the unique culture of Negeri Sembilan but also strengthened bonds of friendship across nations. The programme stands as a reminder that education abroad goes beyond academics — it is about building bridges between cultures, fostering unity, and creating lifelong memories.
