17th July 2023 – USIM was honored to welcome a delegation from Fakultas Dirasat Islamiyyah, Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Indonesia. The purpose of the visit is to explore opportunities for their students to participate in the exchange students’ program for one semester. Additionally, they have expressed a keen interest in having certain subjects offered by Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Faculty of Syariah and Law, and Faculty of Major Language Studies taught in Arabic language to further enhance their students’ language proficiency and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings.
Moreover, Fakultas Dirasat Islamiyyah is eager to collaborate in various student activities. They extend an invitation to USIM to participate in sparring training, courses, and competitions, which can be conducted either physically or virtually. This collaboration aims to foster mutual learning and create a vibrant cultural exchange between the institutions.
During the visit, both parties discussed the potential areas of cooperation and emphasized the importance of creating a rewarding and enriching experience for all students involved. The exchange program and collaborative activities serve as an excellent platform to strengthen the ties between the two faculties and promote a shared vision of knowledge-sharing and academic growth.
USIM ‘Alamiyyah is excited to establish a networking program with Fakultas Dirasat Islamiyyah, with the aim of enhancing our mobility students’ program and promoting USIM among international students from Indonesia. This collaboration offers exciting opportunities for cultural exchange, academic growth, and mutual learning, strengthening the ties between our institutions.
