7 April 2025, Istanbul, Türkiye – USIM Alamiyyah (International Office) has taken a significant step forward in advancing USIM’s internationalization agenda by successfully securing a high-impact collaboration with Istanbul University. A meeting between the Director and Deputy Director of USIM Alamiyyah and the Coordinator for Academic Bilateral Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Canan Cacina, resulted in a positive outcome, with Istanbul University agreeing to collaborate with USIM. The upcoming areas of cooperation between USIM and Istanbul University will include both credited and non-credited mobility programs (under erasmus+ projects), dual academic programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, research matching grants, joint seminars, and visiting lecturer initiatives. This marks a promising beginning for USIM in its pursuit to become a global reference institution by 2025.
