Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) warmly welcomes the visit from UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung from Indonesia, with a focus on discussing Islamic Science.

Prof. Dr. Rosihon Anwar expressed great satisfaction with the presentation delivered by USIM, highlighting their activities in the field of Islamic Science, including academic talks, book publications, and research.

Also present at the event were Associate Professor Dr. Nuruliza Binti Roslan, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (ISI), and Associate Professor Dr. Azni Haslizan Binti Ab Halim, Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST).

The Islamic Science Institute (ISI) has conducted numerous academic talks, including Gerhana Matahari hybrid, fenomena unik sekali setiap 10 tahun, An environmental crisis in the making, Covid-19, face masks disposal – Are we handling and disposing it correctly? An environmental crisis in the making, Face masks: Mandatory armour now a household staple and many more.

This collaboration will be further solidified through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties in the near future. The Islamic Science Institute (ISI) will spearhead the projects and take responsibility for initiating collaborations between USIM and UIN Sunan Gunung Djati.
