On 11th May, the International Student Association (INSAN) of USIM organized “TADOM ADVENTURE: Explore. Bond. Dominate” at Tadom Hills — a refreshing initiative aimed at bringing together the High Council and international students for a day of connection, challenge, and cultural exchange. The program offered a space for students from various countries to bond through games, teamwork, and shared experiences beyond the classroom.
The day was packed with fun and engaging activities — not only those provided by the venue, but also exciting group games organized by the students themselves, including Tug of War, In & Out, and Hungry Caterpillar. To ensure inclusivity, participants were divided into two sessions: female students first enjoyed outdoor games while male students joined indoor challenges, and later they switched. This thoughtful arrangement allowed everyone to participate comfortably while respecting cultural sensitivities.
Among the participants was Agusdiwana Suarni, affectionately known as Kak Ana, a postgraduate student at USIM and a lecturer from Makassar, Indonesia. She shared that despite being a lecturer back home, she actively joins USIM INSAN programs to set an example for her students — to show that studying abroad is not only about academics, but also about embracing culture, building connections, and staying involved.
The event ended with a simple BBQ session, giving everyone time to relax, chat, and enjoy each other’s company. It was a meaningful day that reminded us how even small moments of togetherness can strengthen bonds and create lasting memories. INSAN isn’t just a name — it’s a home away from home. Together, we unite all nations.
