A delegation from Raden Rahmat Islamic University (UNIRA) in Malang, Indonesia, led by Dr. Saifudin and consisting of 13 members, visited USIM ‘Alamiyyah on 12 July. This visit signifies UNIRA’s second visit to USIM.
According to Dr Aries, today’s visit is with several other institutions which has interest to collaborate with USIM for the purpose of collaboration in various fields, particularly in seminars and continuing studies at the Master’s and Ph.D. levels.
During the discussion, USIM took the opportunity to introduce the halal programs and courses offered by the Institute of Fatwa and Halal (IFFAH) at USIM. Additionally, USIM promoted the Genius Insan College, showcasing their program for gifted students.
Based on the conducted discussions, it shows their interest in signing an MoU between USIM and UNIRA for the purpose of collaboration in organizing international seminars. USIM also needs to explore opportunities to attract more students from UNIRA Malang to pursue postgraduate studies here, as they have shown interest in the PhD in Education program at USIM.
