Credit Transfer programme allows students to take selected courses at other participating universities, local or overseas rather than just entirely at USIM. Arrangement for the Credit Transfer programme must be made prior a recognition of the credit transfer. A Senate approval is required for such transfer to be recognised and valid, and commonly arranged in advanced by the Faculty. It can be possible if the initiative is taken by the candidate but the whole procedures must start at Faculty level for a proper scrutiny on similarity checking of courses involved.
Credit Transfer programme can be taken for a period no longer than 2 semesters. Students must take all courses endorsed by the Senate for a graduation requirement to be full filled and to appear on academic transcript. They may take other electives subjects at the host universities and the inclusion in the academic transcript is subject to Senate's approval.
